Fugro Engineering Services (FES) has over 30 years experience in providing UK ground investigation and is part of the onshore & nearshore geotechnical division within the Fugro group, which has worldwide coverage. FES has over 130 staff and was formed in 2003 from the amalgamation of the onshore and nearshore divisions of Fugro Limited and Foundation & Exploration Services Limited which was founded in 1983.

Drawing on the considerable experience of both company's key field, laboratory, environmental, engineering and management staff, the company provides a quality-assured, comprehensive in-house service to meet our clients' technical and commercial requirements.

Working closely with clients, consultants and main contractors, we provide a complete site investigation service to a wide range of industries including Construction; Power; Mining; Water; Renewable Energy. Our clientele is diverse and is derived from both the public and private sectors. Our experience includes major ground investigation projects for large organisations such as Environment Agency, Thames Water, United Utilities, Scottish & Southern Energy, Network Rail, DETR and National Grid.
